Title Clinical Research Associate (CRA)
Salary Based on Experience
Location Marietta, Georgia
Job Information RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Screen and recommend investigators
• Attend investigator meetings
• Conduct pre-study initiation visits
• Orient site personnel to study protocol and procedures
• Perform on-site and on-line site monitoring activities including pre-study visits (PSSVs), site initiation visits (SIVs), routine monitoring-and study initiation and closeout visits.
• Verify accurate transcription of data from source documentation to CRF/EDC
• Oversee drug accountability
• Ensure regulatory inspection readiness at assigned clinical sites
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in adherence to protocols, FDA regulations,
ICH/GCP guidelines, and company SOPs
• Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:

• Ability to travel up to 80%
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Regional CRA
• Extensive knowledge of FDA regulations and GCPs
• Computer proficient with EDC experience
• Detail oriented
• Excellent Verbal and Communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to work proactively; identify issues that may impact enrollment and recruitment timelines

Title Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)

Job Information RESPONSIBILITIES:
Dynamic research group participating in a spectrum of phase 2-4 clinical trials of liver disease, kidney disease and transplant. At the current time, specific ongoing and upcoming studies treating hepatitis C, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, alcohol-related hepatitis, hepatic encephalopathy, humoral kidney transplant rejection, hepatorenal syndrome, primary sclerosing cholangitis, and primary biliary cirrhosis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops and maintains basic competencies required to conduct clinical research 2. Initiates studies 3. Enrolls and manages study patient follow-up; to include entering all protocol required labs, tests, procedures and medication orders in the electronic medical record system timely and accurately 4. Collects data 5. Manages monitoring visits 6. Manages administrative responsibilities, assists in training new CRCs 7. Assumes responsibility for maintaining own current competency file

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Nursing Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
Current RN license in the State of Georgia Certification as a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) within 1 year of eligibility Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS). ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree, Nursing
Background in Cardiology or Transplant and/or clinical research experience.
